Tour Info

Subsequent to the announcement of the shows on 15th October 2012, controversy sparked over the high prices charged for ticket. The prices were defended both by Virgin Media and the band-members themselves. Further controversy arose when it became apparent that many ticket-buyers were immediately putting their tickets for sale on marketplace websites such as Viagogo at even higher prices - the best tickets stretching to the likes of £15,000.

The Rolling Stones played two warm-up shows in Paris, France, in the run up to the tour. The first, on 25th October 2012, took place in a 700-seat theatre named Trabendo and the second, on 29th October, at the Mogador Theatre, which was an invite-only event for employees of the Paris-based investment company, Carmignac Gestion.

The last show of the second 2012 leg in Newark, New Jersey, was televised live across the world, billed as "One Last Shot".

The Rolling Stones announced ten more shows in North America along with two in the UK in April 2013.
