Ronnie Wood is to host his own television show, which is set to follow the same format as his radio show, involving a mixture of vintage rock, blues and soul, and appearances from many star guests. Jez Nelson, the show's producer, has said that the guests on the show would be "higher profile" than those on the radio show.

"He's very connected and well loved," Nelson said. "It's not like a traditional interview show, it's not jumping on the promotional bandwagon. People who come on will share Ronnie's long-running passion for music. It's not like Jonathan Ross, say, where people used to spend two and a half hours in makeup. Guests never address the cameras, it's a different kind of format."

The show will involve half an hour of footage from Ronnie's radio studio, with Ronnie and his guest reflecting on the show and its material. It is set to air on Sky Arts in February of next year.
