The Rolling Stones have announced their rumoured upcoming gigs in London and New York. The dates were announced via a special Youtube video (see below), filmed during the band's current rehearsals in France.

The gigs are to be billed as 'The Rolling Stones: 50 Years And Counting' and will promote the band's forthcoming "Crossfire Hurricane" documentary and new compilation album, "GRRR!".



Production company Endemol are to co-manage the international digital rights to the shows with Dainty Group. Tim Hincks, President of Endemol Group said: "We are extremely proud to be partnering with the world’s greatest Rock n' Roll band and with the Dainty Group. '50 and Counting' is set to be a phenomenal global celebration of the Rolling Stones and we'll soon be announcing further plans to make it an interactive experience for fans like no other."

The partnership will see the final show of the short tour, at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, on 15th December, broadcasted live via pay-per-view at 9pm ET. It is to be entitled "One Last Shot" and will be distributed by WWE.
