Eric Clapton and Florence Welch to join the Rolling Stones on Thursday's London show

Eric Clapton and Florence Welch will join the Rolling Stones on-stage at their show on Thursday 29th November at the O2 Arena in London, along with former band-members Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor.

It is confirmed that Eric Clapton and Florence Welch (of Florence of the Machine) will join the Rolling Stones for a song each on their Thursday show at London's O2 Arena.

Former Stones members, Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor, will also join the band at some point. On Sunday's show, Bill played for two songs ("It's Only Rock n' Roll" and "Honky Tonk Women"), while Mick Taylor played lead guitar on "Midnight Rambler". See here for footage!

It is likely that Clapton will play lead guitar on a song, probably a blues number such as "Little Red Rooster" or "Campagne and Reefer" (both rehearsed), while Florence will provide vocals for a song that typically involves a heavy female part, such as "Gimme Shelter" (as with Mary J. Blige on the Sunday 25th show).

Who's excited? If you still want a ticket, there are some up for grabs for below face value here!

Eric Clapton live with the Stones on 19th October, 1989.
