History and recording

The show was originally recording through the soundboard by Andy Johns on the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio at the Forest National arena in Brussels, Belgium. It was re-produced by Bob Clearmountain in 2011 for the official release.

Release and aftermath

The album was heavily bootlegged from the time of its original recording until 2011. A new website was launched by the Stones in 2011 which will periodically release re-mastered live shows. 'The Brussels Affair' was the first of these and was released on 11 November 2011.


The cover includes the tour poster from the 1973 European Tour.
