"A great quality re-produced bootleg."
Recording
The show was originally recorded live for a pay-per-view event on television on Keith Richards' 38th birthday (18 December 1981). The Stones played two dates at this venue - this was the first one. The show has been heavily bootlegged for years since a good quality soundboard recording existed from it. One particularly famous part of the show was when a fan invaded the stage and Keith hit him with his Fender Telecaster. The 2012 release was re-produced by Bob Clearmountain.
Release & Aftermath
The album was officially released by Stones Archive on 1 February 2012.
