Recording
This was the first live recording of the Stones to be released. It was recorded across their British tour of March 1965, namely at the Manchester and Liverpool gigs. The title of the album is a pun on the title of the Slim Harpo song, "I Got Love If You Want It", hence why the word "live" is in capital letters on the front cover.
